Dr.P.Ramesh Kumar, M.A., M.A (Ling)., M.Phil., P.hD, NET, is an experienced Assistant Professor and NSS Programme Officer and YRC District Organizer, Chengalpattu District of our college. He has won various awards including ‘Kural Neri Chemmal’ by International Institute of Tamil Studies, ‘Best Blood Donation Camp organizer’ by the Government of Tamil Nadu. He has published two books and several scholarly papers in UGC care listed journals. He has also presented papers in several universities. He has been the editor of the research journal “Contemporary Praxis in Academics & Research a Linguistic Approach”.
He has been conferred with the Blood Donation Camp Organizer Award by Thiru Ma. Subramanian Honourable Minister for Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Tamil Nadu on 10.10.2025 for mobilizing maximum number of NSS Volunteers for Blood Donation camp during the year 2024 meant for poor patients in Government Hospitals.
He has been conferred with the Best Teacher Award by International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) on 10.10.2025 at The Park, Chennai.
He is conferred with the “Green Champion Award 2024″ By Tmt.Rashmi Siddhart Zagade, I.A.S.,District Collector,Chennai on 15.8.25 for exemplary contribution in the field of Environmental Protection and awareness.
